Shipping Policy
Little Tales by Lopa creates handmade crochet and gifting products. Because many products are made or customised after an order is placed, production time may differ from standard ready-to-ship products. 1. ORDER PROCESSING: Orders are processed after successful payment confirmation. The estimated processing or production time might be stated on the relevant product page or communicated at the time of purchase. Customized and bulk orders may require additional production time. The delivery estimate begins from the date the order is ready for dispatch, unless otherwise stated. 2. HANDMADE PRODUCTION TIME: Our products are handmade and may require additional time for: crocheting; customisation; quality checking; packaging; and preparation for dispatch. The estimated production time is therefore different from the courier delivery time. We will make reasonable efforts to meet the stated timeline. 3. SHIPPING CHARGES: Applicable shipping charges will be displayed or communicated before you complete your purchase. Any minimum-order free-shipping offer will clearly state its applicable conditions. 4. DELIVERY: Orders are shipped through third-party courier or logistics providers. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on: destination; courier availability; weather; public holidays; local restrictions; peak-season volume; incorrect or incomplete address information; or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. A delay by a courier does not automatically mean that an order has been cancelled. We will reasonably assist with genuine delivery issues. 5. DELIVERY ADDRESS: Please carefully check your name, phone number, PIN code and complete delivery address before placing your order. If an order is returned because of an incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible address provided by the customer, no refund will be provided in this case and additional shipping charges may apply for re-dispatch, where permitted by applicable law. 6. FAILED DELIVERY: If a courier attempts delivery and is unable to deliver the package because the recipient is unavailable, unreachable or the address is incorrect, the courier may make further attempts or return the package to us according to its procedures. No refund will be provided in this case and customers should cooperate with reasonable courier calls or delivery attempts. 7. TRACKING: Where tracking is available, the tracking information will be shared with the customer through the available communication channel. Tracking information is generated by the courier and may occasionally take time to update. 8. DAMAGED OR TAMPERED PACKAGES: If your package appears damaged, opened or tampered with at delivery, please: photograph or record the package before opening it; retain the packaging; and contact us promptly with your order details and photographs. This helps us investigate the issue with the courier. This procedure does not limit any statutory consumer rights available under applicable law. 9. WRONG OR MISSING ITEM: If you receive an item that is materially different from what you ordered, or an item is missing from your package, contact us promptly. Please provide: order number; photographs of the received package and product clicked immediately during receiving; and a description of the issue. We will investigate and provide an appropriate remedy where the issue is attributable to us. 10. CUSTOMISED AND BULK ORDERS: Customized and bulk orders may require longer processing and delivery timelines. The expected timeline will be communicated before or at the time of order confirmation. For large event or corporate orders, a separate delivery schedule may be agreed in writing. 11. DELIVERY DELAYS BEYOND OUR CONTROL: We are not responsible for delays caused by events reasonably beyond our control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, transport disruption, strikes, government restrictions, courier disruptions or other force-majeure events. We will nevertheless make reasonable efforts to assist you. 12. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: International shipping, where offered, may be subject to additional shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such charges are the customer's responsibility. 13. CONTACT: Little Tales by Lopa Email: [peinazkavarana.8043@gmail.com] Phone/WhatsApp: [9974466622] Business Address: [Swastik Park, Althan Road, Surat, Gujarat] For order-related shipping questions, please provide your order number when contacting us.
Return Policy
Our handmade and made-to-order products are generally non-returnable and non-refundable when correctly fulfilled. By placing an order, you agree to this policy. Little Tales by Lopa creates handmade and, in many cases, personalised crochet and gifting products. This Policy explains when an order may be cancelled, returned, replaced or refunded. Nothing in this Policy is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law. 1. CANCELLATION OF ORDERS Standard Products You may request cancellation of a standard product order before it enters the applicable production, packing or dispatch stage. Cancellation requests should be made as soon as possible. Once an order has entered production, packing or dispatch, cancellation may no longer be possible. Customised Products Because customised products are created specifically according to your instructions, cancellation may not be possible once production has begun. Where work has already commenced, any refund will be subject to applicable law and the reasonable costs already incurred for materials, labour or production. 2. CHANGE OF MIND Returns or refunds are not automatically available simply because a customer changes their mind, particularly where the product has been personalised or made specifically for the customer. However, this does not affect any statutory consumer remedy applicable to defective, damaged, materially misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming products. 3. HANDMADE VARIATIONS Minor differences in: colour; size; shape; stitch placement; texture; finishing; or appearance may occur because our products are handmade. Reasonable handmade variations are not considered defects when the product substantially matches its description and intended design. 4. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR WRONG PRODUCTS If you receive a product that is: damaged in transit; defective; materially different from the product ordered; or missing an essential component, please contact us promptly. We may request photographs, videos, packaging details or other information reasonably necessary to investigate the issue. Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may include: replacement; repair; refund; or another remedy required or permitted under applicable law. 5. RETURN CONDITIONS Where a return is approved: the product should generally be unused and in reasonable condition; original packaging should be retained where reasonably possible; the product should not have been altered, washed or damaged by the customer; and the customer must follow the return instructions provided by us. The specific return procedure will be communicated when a return is approved. 6. CUSTOMISED PRODUCTS Customised or personalised products are generally not eligible for return or exchange merely because the customer changes their mind or no longer requires the product. This restriction does not apply where the product is defective, materially incorrect, damaged due to reasons attributable to us, or otherwise subject to a statutory remedy. If a customisation error is caused by incorrect information supplied or approved by the customer, we may not be responsible for producing a replacement, subject to applicable law. 7. REFUNDS Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed using the original payment method or another lawful method agreed with the customer. The time taken for the refund to appear in the customer's account may depend on the payment provider or bank. Shipping charges may be refundable or non-refundable depending on the reason for the refund and applicable law. 8. REPLACEMENTS Where replacement is approved, we will communicate the expected replacement timeline. For handmade products, the replacement may require a new production period. If the exact material, colour or component is unavailable, we may discuss an appropriate alternative or refund, subject to applicable law. 9. EXCHANGES Exchanges are not automatically available for all products. Because many of our products are handmade or customised, an exchange may be offered only where specifically stated for the relevant product. No exchange restriction will override a statutory consumer right. 10. NON-RETURNABLE SITUATIONS Subject to applicable law, a return may generally not be accepted where the issue arises solely from: normal wear and tear; improper washing or cleaning; misuse or neglect; unauthorised modification; accidental damage after delivery; minor handmade variation; or a customer's change of mind regarding a customised product. 11. ORDER CANCELLATION BY LITTLE TALES BY LOPA We may cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where: a product becomes unavailable; a material listing or pricing error occurs; payment cannot be verified; the order cannot reasonably be fulfilled; or circumstances require cancellation under applicable law. If we cancel an order after receiving payment, the applicable refund will be processed. 12. SALE AND PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS Products purchased during promotional campaigns may have additional return or cancellation conditions, provided those conditions are clearly disclosed before purchase and do not unlawfully restrict statutory consumer rights. 13. Where a product is defective, materially misrepresented, or otherwise does not conform to the applicable legal requirements, the customer's statutory remedies remain unaffected. 15. Once we have accepted your order or have started the production, cancellations or refunds regarding the same will not be acceptable. 8.1 Standard Products Cancellation may be considered before the product has entered the applicable preparation, packing or dispatch stage, subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy. 8.2 Customised or Personalised Products Because customised and personalised products may be made specifically for you and may involve dedicated materials and labour, cancellation may not be possible once production has begun. Where permitted by applicable law, any applicable deduction or non-refundable amount relating to work already completed, materials procured or other reasonable costs incurred may apply. Nothing in this clause is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. 9. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY We endeavour to dispatch orders within the estimated production and processing timelines communicated for the relevant product. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on: 1. the nature of the product 2. customisation requirements 3. order quantity 4. production workload 5. courier operations 6. delivery location 7. weather or natural events 8. public holidays 9. other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We are not responsible for delays caused solely by third-party courier services or events outside our reasonable control, but we will make reasonable efforts to assist with legitimate delivery issues. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information. We may not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional charges resulting from incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible delivery information provided by you. 10. RISK AND DELIVERY ISSUES Please inspect your package and product immediately upon delivery. If your package appears visibly damaged, tampered with or incorrect, we recommend that you: 1. document the condition through clear photographs and/or video, where reasonably possible 2. retain the original packaging 3. contact us promptly with your order details. This documentation helps us investigate the matter with the relevant shipping partner. This requirement does not limit any statutory rights available to you under applicable law. 11. RETURNS, REFUNDS, REPLACEMENTS AND EXCHANGES Our return, refund, replacement and exchange procedures are governed by our separate Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Because most Little Tales by Lopa products are handmade and/or customised, eligibility for return or exchange may vary depending on the product and reason for the request. Important: A return, refund or replacement will not automatically be available merely because: 1. a handmade product contains minor natural variations 2. the customer changes their mind 3. the colour appears slightly different on another screen 4. a personalised product can no longer be reused or resold 5. the final handmade product differs in immaterial ways from a reference image. However, this does not affect your rights in relation to products that are genuinely defective, materially different from what was represented, damaged due to reasons attributable to us, or otherwise subject to remedies required by applicable law. 12. HANDMADE PRODUCT CARE Our crochet products should be handled with reasonable care. Unless specific product-care instructions state otherwise: 1. avoid excessive pulling or stretching 2. keep products away from fire and excessive heat 3. avoid prolonged exposure to moisture 4. avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning 5. do not wash or machine-wash a product unless the relevant care instructions expressly permit it 6. store products in a clean and dry place. Failure to follow appropriate care instructions may affect product appearance or longevity. Damage caused by improper use, improper washing, misuse, neglect, unauthorised alteration or normal wear and tear may not qualify for a refund, replacement or repair. 13. SAFETY AND APPROPRIATE USE Certain products may contain small parts, embellishments, attachments, beads, buttons, safety components, packaging elements or decorative accessories. Unless expressly designed, labelled and represented as suitable for a particular age group, products should not be assumed to be toys or suitable for infants or young children. Adult supervision is recommended where appropriate. Customers are responsible for using products for their intended purpose carefully and in accordance with any product-specific instructions or warnings. 14. BULK, EVENT AND CORPORATE ORDERS We may accept bulk orders for gifting, events, return gifts, corporate gifting, collaborations and other purposes. Bulk orders may be subject to separate terms: 1. Appropriate production schedules 2. Full advance payments 3. design approval is mandatory 4. customisation mentioned by the customer and approved by us 5. delivery dates, once decided, cannot be pushed before time by the customer 6. cancellations will not be acceptable once the production has started 7. refunds will not be provided for minor deviations as every product is handmade and is subject to being slightly different from each other Any separate written quotation, invoice or agreement specifically accepted for a bulk order shall apply to that order. Where there is a conflict, the specific agreed terms for that bulk order will prevail to the extent permitted by law. 15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Little Tales by Lopa shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer-protection law. We do not seek to exclude liability for a product that is defective or materially misrepresented where the law provides you with a remedy. 21. NO GUARANTEE OF PERFECT UNIFORMITY Because our products are handmade, we cannot guarantee the exact uniformity associated with machine-manufactured products. By purchasing a handmade product, you acknowledge and accept reasonable variations inherent to handcrafted work. However, we remain committed to making products with reasonable care and to addressing genuine quality or fulfilment issues in accordance with applicable law and our policies. 22. FORCE MAJEURE We shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, governmental action, transport disruption, labour disruption, supply shortages, power or communication failures, courier disruptions or similar events.
