By placing an order, you agree to our terms. All prices are in INR and inclusive of taxes. We collect your name and phone number only for order processing. Your data is never shared. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of products from Little Tales by Lopa ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy. These Terms are intended to operate in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, as amended by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) (Amendment) Rules, 2026, which are scheduled to come into force on 1 January 2027. 1. OUR PRODUCTS Little Tales by Lopa sells handmade crochet products, gifts, accessories, customised products and related handcrafted items. Because our products are handmade, reasonable variations in size, shape, texture, stitch placement, colour tone and finishing may occur. Such variations are a natural characteristic of handmade products and are not, by themselves, considered defects. Product photographs are intended to represent the product accurately. However, colours may appear differently depending on lighting, photography and your device or screen. Unless specifically stated in the product description, decorative props shown in photographs are not included with the product. 2. CUSTOMISED AND PERSONALised PRODUCTS For personalised or customised orders, you are responsible for providing accurate names, spellings, dates, colours, messages, measurements and other specifications. Where a design preview or confirmation is provided, you are responsible for reviewing and approving the information before production begins. Once production of a customised product has started, cancellation or changes may not be possible. Custom products may not be eligible for return or exchange solely because you have changed your mind, subject always to any rights available to you under applicable law. 3. PRODUCT INFORMATION We endeavour to ensure that product descriptions, dimensions, photographs, prices, availability and other material information displayed on our website are accurate and sufficiently clear for you to make an informed purchase. If we discover a material error in a product description or price before an order is fulfilled, we may contact you to clarify the issue or cancel the affected order. If payment has already been received and the order is cancelled, the applicable refund will be processed. For imported products, where applicable, required information such as country of origin and importer details will be disclosed as required by law. 4. PRICES AND DISCOUNTS All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹), unless otherwise stated. Applicable shipping charges, taxes or other mandatory charges will be disclosed before completion of your purchase. Where a discount or price reduction is advertised, we will not use misleading or fictitious pricing. From the effective date of the 2026 amendments, any "prior price" or comparable price representation will be made in accordance with the applicable legal requirements, including the prescribed 30-day price-history requirement where applicable. Promotional offers and coupon codes may have additional conditions stated with the offer. 5. ORDERS Submitting an order constitutes your request to purchase the selected product. An order acknowledgement does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order. We may cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where: the product is unavailable; there is a material pricing or listing error; payment cannot be verified or completed; we reasonably suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity; or fulfilment is not reasonably possible. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by customisation, production requirements, courier delays, weather, public holidays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. RETURNS, REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS Returns, refunds, replacements, exchanges and cancellations are governed by our Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy. Because many of our products are handmade or personalised, eligibility may differ depending on the product and reason for the request. Nothing in our policies is intended to exclude or restrict a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Indian law. 9. HANDMADE PRODUCT CARE Customers are responsible for following any care instructions supplied with the product. Unless product-specific instructions state otherwise, handmade crochet products should generally be protected from excessive pulling, harsh chemicals, excessive moisture, fire and inappropriate washing. Damage caused by misuse, improper washing, unauthorised alteration, neglect or normal wear and tear may not qualify for replacement or refund. 10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The Little Tales by Lopa name, logo, photographs, original product designs, graphics, text, illustrations, videos and other original website content belong to or are lawfully used by Little Tales by Lopa. CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND CONTENT If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, testimonial or other content to us, you must have the right to submit that content and it must not be unlawful or infringe another person's rights. ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS Little Tales by Lopa creates handmade crochet products, gifts, accessories, customised creations and other handcrafted items. 1.1 Handmade Nature of Products: Our products are individually handcrafted and are not mass-produced. Accordingly, minor variations may naturally occur between products. PRODUCT IMAGES AND REPRESENTATION: We make reasonable efforts to display our products as accurately as possible. However, you acknowledge that: 1. colours may appear differently depending on your device, screen settings, lighting and photography 2. handmade products may have natural variations from the product shown in photographs 3. product photographs may include styling props, decorative items or accessories that are not included unless expressly stated in the product description 4. dimensions are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise. Where a product is handmade to closely match a displayed design, the final product may not be an identical replica of the photograph. We reserve the right to make minor changes that do not materially affect the nature, quality or intended use of a product, subject always to applicable law. 3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND AVAILABILITY: We endeavour to ensure that product descriptions, prices, images and other information displayed on our website are accurate. However, errors, omissions, typographical errors or inaccuracies may occasionally occur. We reserve the right, to the extent permitted by applicable law, to: 1. correct errors or inaccuracies 2. update product information 3. correct pricing errors 4. modify or discontinue a product 5. cancel an order affected by a material error. Once you approve a design or provide final confirmation, we may begin production based on the approved specifications. We shall not be responsible for any changes or mistakes made from the customer's end. Little Tales by Lopa shall not be responsible for errors in: 1. spelling 2. names or initials 3. dates 4. messages 5. addresses 6. colours selected by you 7. other information approved or provided by you. 4.2 Reference Images You may provide a reference image to communicate your preferred style, colour, shape or concept. A reference image is intended as inspiration or guidance unless we expressly agree otherwise. Due to the handmade nature of our work, the final product may not be an exact replica of the reference image. We may decline a custom request where it is technically impractical, unsuitable for crochet, unavailable, or potentially infringes another person's intellectual property rights. 4.3 Customisation Changes Once production has started, changes to a customised order may not be possible. If changes are requested after work has begun, we may decline the requested changes or agree to make changes subject to additional cost and/or additional production time. 5. PRICES All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (₹) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change from time to time without prior notice. However, a price change will not ordinarily affect an order that has already been accepted, except where correction of a genuine pricing or technical error is required and permitted by applicable law. Applicable taxes, shipping charges or other charges, if any, will be displayed or communicated as applicable before completion of your order. We do not use hidden charges. Material charges applicable to your purchase should be communicated before you complete the transaction, consistent with consumer-protection requirements. 6. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer by you to purchase the selected product(s). Once we have accepted your order or have started the production, cancellations or refunds regarding the same will not be acceptable. 8.1 Standard Products Cancellation may be considered before the product has entered the applicable preparation, packing or dispatch stage, subject to our Cancellation and Refund Policy. 8.2 Customised or Personalised Products Because customised and personalised products may be made specifically for you and may involve dedicated materials and labour, cancellation may not be possible once production has begun. Where permitted by applicable law, any applicable deduction or non-refundable amount relating to work already completed, materials procured or other reasonable costs incurred may apply. Nothing in this clause is intended to remove or restrict any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. 9. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY We endeavour to dispatch orders within the estimated production and processing timelines communicated for the relevant product. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary depending on: 1. the nature of the product 2. customisation requirements 3. order quantity 4. production workload 5. courier operations 6. delivery location 7. weather or natural events 8. public holidays 9. other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We are not responsible for delays caused solely by third-party courier services or events outside our reasonable control, but we will make reasonable efforts to assist with legitimate delivery issues. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and contact information. We may not be responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional charges resulting from incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible delivery information provided by you. 10. RISK AND DELIVERY ISSUES Please inspect your package and product immediately upon delivery. If your package appears visibly damaged, tampered with or incorrect, we recommend that you: 1. document the condition through clear photographs and/or video, where reasonably possible 2. retain the original packaging 3. contact us promptly with your order details. RETURNS, REFUNDS, REPLACEMENTS AND EXCHANGES Our return, refund, replacement and exchange procedures are governed by our separate Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Because most Little Tales by Lopa products are handmade and/or customised, eligibility for return or exchange may vary depending on the product and reason for the request. Important: A return, refund or replacement will not automatically be available merely because: 1. a handmade product contains minor natural variations 2. the customer changes their mind 3. the colour appears slightly different on another screen 4. a personalised product can no longer be reused or resold 5. the final handmade product differs in immaterial ways from a reference image. However, this does not affect your rights in relation to products that are genuinely defective, materially different from what was represented, damaged due to reasons attributable to us, or otherwise subject to remedies required by applicable law. 12. HANDMADE PRODUCT CARE Our crochet products should be handled with reasonable care. Unless specific product-care instructions state otherwise: 1. avoid excessive pulling or stretching 2. keep products away from fire and excessive heat 3. avoid prolonged exposure to moisture 4. avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning 5. do not wash or machine-wash a product unless the relevant care instructions expressly permit it 6. store products in a clean and dry place. Failure to follow appropriate care instructions may affect product appearance or longevity. Damage caused by improper use, improper washing, misuse, neglect, unauthorised alteration or normal wear and tear may not qualify for a refund, replacement or repair. 13. SAFETY AND APPROPRIATE USE Certain products may contain small parts, embellishments, attachments, beads, buttons, safety components, packaging elements or decorative accessories. Unless expressly designed, labelled and represented as suitable for a particular age group, products should not be assumed to be toys or suitable for infants or young children. Adult supervision is recommended where appropriate. Customers are responsible for using products for their intended purpose carefully and in accordance with any product-specific instructions or warnings. 14. BULK, EVENT AND CORPORATE ORDERS We may accept bulk orders for gifting, events, return gifts, corporate gifting, collaborations and other purposes. Bulk orders may be subject to separate terms: 1. Appropriate production schedules 2. Full advance payments 3. design approval is mandatory 4. customisation mentioned by the customer and approved by us 5. delivery dates, once decided, cannot be pushed before time by the customer 6. cancellations will not be acceptable once the production has started 7. refunds will not be provided for minor deviations as every product is handmade and is subject to being slightly different from each other Any separate written quotation, invoice or agreement specifically accepted for a bulk order shall apply to that order. Where there is a conflict, the specific agreed terms for that bulk order will prevail to the extent permitted by law. 15.
